Company founder and medical director

Parizad Hooshi, MD, is the founder and medical director of Northridge Specialty Imaging Center. Dr. Hooshi is trained in diagnostic radiology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with subspecialty in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) from University of California San Diego (UCSD). Throughout her education and postgraduate training, Dr. Hooshi’s dedication to radiology is reflected in her honors. In addition, Dr. Hooshi is an author of various publications in the field of radiology.

After serving seven years as the supervising radiologist in outpatient imaging center, she is currently full time at Northridge Specialty Imaging Center. She is passionate advocate of improving the quality of health care delivery to patients. Dr. Hooshi makes her best effort to improve patient care by considering the totality of the experience through the eyes of the patient. She recognizes that while science and technology are thriving in medicine, humanity and empathy are essential. To be truly healing and effective, Dr. Hooshi understands that imaging procedures must be delivered in a way that is sensitive to patients’ concerns and comfort and with the best service to the referring physicians.
